Giving up blogging for Lent
I am giving up blogging for Lent.
I’m waiting for my new Kindle to arrive which Wifey kindly purchased for my birthday, and she has a reading list ready for me to replenish my spiritual life.
Feel free to suggest any ‘essential’ reading you feel I should purchase in this endeavour.
Caral and Edmund may post in my absence, but that’s not confirmed and is up to them.
I really do need to renew myself spiritually and will hopefully return raring to go.
I’m still on Twitter if you want to touch base.
Have a wonderful Lent and may it be spiritually refreshing and renewing for us all.

Happy Birthday and congratulations on getting a Kindle!
Anyways, there is a slew of reasonably priced or even free reading material for people of faith on the web. As a first though someone I find stimulating to read is Keith Giles and you can download his material in ebook format at http://subversive1.blogspot.com
And don’t forget the Calibre program for converting ebook formats etc. http://calibre-ebook.com/

Will miss you and look forward to your return in the Easter season. Enjoy your Lent reading.

“There were moments of joy and light but also moments that were not easy … there were moments, as there were throughout the history of the Church, when the seas were rough and the wind blew against us and it seemed that the Lord was sleeping.” – Benedict XVI
Sleeping on the job, no excuse for christians to abandon their faith or posts.
