What about the Egyptian Crucifixion story?

<a href="http://www.ecalpemos.org/2012/08/christians-crucifixion-crucified-in-egypt.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.ecalpemos.org/2012/08/christians-crucifixion-crucified-in-egypt.html</a>

I asked Ekklesia about it and they circulated they asked their contacts over there but nobody had heard of it.

The interesting thing for me is that it shows how stories can change as they are spread, especially where indignation is involved and there is an information vacuum. It may tell us something about how the gospels were written as the circumstances are not dissimilar. Think of the verses about a mass resurrection of the dead and the earthquake in Jerusalem.
