Quote of the Day

All the historical spiritual leaders, story-writers and psychological theorists of faith tell us that Christian faith is dynamic, changing and evolving process, rather than something which is relatively static.

For this reason faith is, perhaps, best described as a verb. In normal conversation we think of faith as a noun: something you have or don’t have. But faith, understood as a verb, is a process of becoming.

This process of becoming involves out loving, trusting, believing, acting, suffering, valuing, knowing and committing. In this sense, faith is more than an acceptance of certain statements of belief: it is a way of living which encompasses all of life.
