Quote of the Day
Regardless of what happens, I do not have any intentions at this time to shut up. If you don’t like what I say here, blogs are free. Go blog about it somewhere and tell me how much you think I should shut up. Do it in public. By all means, do a show about it! Call me crazy on your show! Just don’t whisper in the halls about me. I’m tired of the dark corners, and so are a lot of other mentally ill people out there who are pushed into them constantly.

No, he is right. No one cares what I say.

I can’t access the blog, but attempts by comment warriors to use “comments” to silence people are becoming routine on the web. I just delete those pseudo-comments when I see them and think no more about it, or their authors.

@Roger, sadly it would seem that in this instance the comment warriors have been successful, as it would appear that Lisa’s deleted her entire website and blog.

I looked at Lisa’s blog and the comments yesterday evening. A self-proclaimed ‘lawyer’ who did not know the difference between “slander” (spoken untruths) and “libel” (printed untruths) is not worth the effort of a reply.
And I thought the great U.S. of A. was the land of free speech!!!
Lisa, if you are reading this, may you know the blessing of the Lord God and His peace which passes all understanding.

It wasn’t the commenters or the “lawyer.” It was the Catholics who didn’t want to hear me talk about the importance of identity in Christ in mental illness and how people’s failure to understand this point is keeping people from understanding how to deal with the issue of “gay rights.”
I’ve said my part and was told to shut up because I was, apparently, ruining my reputation by continuing to talk about it. But God has promised to lead the Church into “all truth” and so, I know that the truth will go on without me.
