    “It is universally acknowledged that poverty is a relative concept.”

    Poverty in a developed country can by far be a tougher battle for survival than in a less developed country even more so on a psychological level.

    £8 a day JSA in a developed country must be equivalent (or less) to the subsistence power of a dollar a day in a less developed country.
