Webmaster, I do wish blog posts would follow the academic convention of using words rather than an acronym on its first useage in a post, followed by a pararenthasis with the acronym. It saves having to look up OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination?) but then realised it must mean Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe… and you know from the outset what is being discussed…

Funny you should say that Peter. I’m with you actually. I much prefer the full name followed by acronym.
I chose the blog post title, because with the name, it looked too wordy.
If it’s too wordy, less folks come to read it through platforms like Twitter etc. Amazing isn’t it. If I’d put the full name, folk would have glazed over before getting to: “European media to stop spreading prejudices against Christians”.
Seriously, I kid you not.
Then again, if I don’t use the full name, then I’ll miss the search engine traffic off the name.
Ah the daily dilemmas of am obsessive compulsive blogger
