Patriarch Kirill calls on society to fight extremism
The all powerful Rusian Orthodox leader Patriarch Kirill has called on authorities, society and religious organizations to join efforts in fighting the spread of radical views.
He must be referring to the extremist views of Catholics and Lutherans.

Actually, if you read the piece, he’s encouraging the public to reject the racial, nationalist and religious hatreds which threaten the social fabric. Just what a Christian leader should be doing.

Yes of course Sophie, this piece was a little tongue-in-cheek and kudos where it’s due, as you rightly point out.
My (recent) concerns revolve around the [mis]treatment of other Christian and Jewish denominations by the Russian Orthodox Church currently.
I should have made that a little plainer.

The Russian Orthodox Church may soon be to busy saving its own skin from the religion of jihad to find the time for the [mis]treatment of fellow Christians and Jewish denominations.
How long before unification of the denominations and the formation of a Christian Defence League.
