Who are you?

Hey bloggers you’ve got to check this out:

Who are you?

blog.echurchwebsites.org.uk is probably written by a male somewhere between 66-100 years old. The writing style is academic and upset most of the time.

Well they got the male part right! Cheeky……

Comes out the same for me except that my style is classified as personal rather than academic. Not sure how to take that one, and I’m really not that old!!! ;-)

  2. cnocspeireag Says:

It gave the same about every blog i tried. Perhaps the report on this site should be:

Written by a male, below the age of sixteen. He probably suffers from acne and lives with his mum. The content is b*llocks most of the time.

I’m always grumpy until after my second morning coffee.

I got the same result. Believe it or not that tool was recommended in PR Week magazine. Tha’ts where I found it anyway.

    I’m with you.

@Gordon – I’ve still got a terrible weakness for this sort of thing, even though I know they’re ridiculous, I’ve no idea why.

@ Webmaster: Checked out freethinker.co.uk (the voice of atheism since 1881) and it too “is probably written by a male somewhere between 66-100 years old, etc…”

Very strange! Who worked out this algorithm anyway? The 16 year old with acne theory sounds likely to me.

  7. webmaster Says:

Yes the blogger behind the freethinker would be much older than 100yrs if he’s been at it since 1881….

  8. Sophie Says:

And how impressive to be blogging online from that date too! Though one wonders how many followers he had for the first century or so.

    They have me as:

“anglicansamizdat.net/wordpress is probably written by a male somewhere between 66-100 years old. The writing style is personal and happy most of the time”

I am almost 100, but “happy most of the time”! – I’m going to have to try harder to be miserable.

  11. Webmaster Says:

    @David – Happy!!

  12. Alastair Says:

Yep, I get to be significantly older than I am in the blogosphere too, though they got me right we generally happy and not very academic :-)

  13. Alastair Says:

    or ‘with’ generally happy even….
