Will Rockefeller build 3rd Temple? A Rockefeller is raising capital to rebuild the Jewish Temple, said the news release published on CNN Money’s Internet site and other news sources.
Whilst glancing quickly at news feeds in the middle of moving house, I noted this rather odd news relating to a Rockefeller raising capital for a proposed 3rd Temple in Jerusalem.
I posted last year an article from ‘Israel Today’ that spoke of a a centuries-old rabbinical prophecy, that Israel will begin construction of the Third Temple in Jerusalem on March 16, 2010.
Vee over at Living Journey has put together an excellent post (as usual) relating to this recent “Temple Talk”, which is well worth a read:-

Why would they need a rockefeller to build their 3rd temple, when everything is already made and ready except for the worm for the dye and the root for the column of black smoke. All they have to do is to put it up.

The article that I linked to said that the plans that Rockefellar had in rebuilding of the temple was a hoax that had got around the blogosphere. Richman, international director of the Temple Institute, a Jewish Temple activist group, told WND the release is a “scam.”
What my article points to is two articles — one is about the “Temple Institute” and their growing support of building the Third Temple here on earth. The other is the true role of the temple for Christians this side of the cross… you can find a direct link to that article here…

I am most interested to learn whether those branches of Judaism – yes and of evangelical Christianity too! – who welcome a future temple in Jerusalem, welcome also the wholesale ritual slaughter of conscious animals?
You can hardly have a temple without sacrificial slaughter. Yet the latter was very much opposed by, certainly, the later and major prophets of the Old Testament!
Like Christendom’s clergy today, the priests of Israel went through their ceremonial rituals daily, offering oblations on their altar. But, thankfully, the true prophets stood out in rebuking such forms of worship with a ‘thus saith the Lord’. Yes, and for it – so unlike the ‘respectable’ priests, the prophets were hounded out of the land and frequently stoned.
In today’s decadent state – aswell as an insipid Christendom – in the words of one of old: ‘I would that all God’s people were prophets!’

1 Corinthians 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
