Although the bell was still quite large and looked very heavy (good scrappage prices) so their must have been more people involved, no way would one 18 year old have been able to move the bell so far I’m from Lochgelly and passed this church everyday, the bell had been lying on the ground for well over a year, so I am surprised it took this long before it was nicked.
