Both Dawkin's and Ruse seem to agree that God probably does not exist. It seems the schism has more to do with the way various atheists view religion, science, and any conflict or compatibility therein. The disagreement is not just present with atheists. The theistic community displays a wide range of opinions on the compatibility of science and religion, some of them the same as atheists. Not really an atheist schism, though, is it?
