It should be remembered that the Swedish Lutheran Church is, essentially, a political body whose officers are &lt;a href=&quot;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_Sweden&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;chosen in the same way as the Swedish Parliament.&lt;/a&gt;  Even though they were formally separated from the State in 2000, they are still in most respects a state religion that holds the secular political order higher than God.

&quot;Ecumenical&quot; dialogue may be useful, but the goal must be that of conversion.  There are many hurting souls, including perhaps many clergy, that need a way forward, which in a &quot;church&quot; that has so obviously abandoned the Gospel, is necessarily a way out.</description>
