Campaign from Premier Christian Radio

Good Morning,

Did you know that a year ago 50,000 Christians were forced from their homes in Orissa state, India, because of their faith? Three hundred villages were destroyed and over one hundred and twenty people died.  Today, 4,000 Christians are still displaced, and persecuted.

Here at Premier Christian Media we believe that Christians should be able to freely profess their faith without the threat of persecution.  In response to this we have started a petition that we will send to the Prime Minister of India, Dr. Singh.   This petition will implore him to act against this persecution and protect our Christian brothers.

We want 50,000 British citizens to sign this petition: one for each Christian that has been persecuted.  We need your help.  I know that you were involved with the Christian Media Awards last month and I think that it would really help our cause if you could blog about this conflict and encourage your readers to sign our petition.

Please do visit the website, www.faithwithoutfear.org to find out a bit more about the cause.

Thank you for your help.

Regards,
Alice Perrin
