		<description>I fully support the fight to remain the freedom to offer Christian prayer and suggest that any restriction is a serious infringement of freedom of speech.  There is no way in which the offer of prayer could be seen as intrusive or offensive as it remains an offer which can be accepted or rejected by other people.  The Christian faith requires witness and care of others.
The freedom of speech and independence of lving in a democracy is something which has been hard fought for and is too precious to allow to be eroded.  If Christians are prevented from living openly then how is this different from the persecution of Christians historically experienced in the Soviet Union and, of course, in the roman empire during the time of Jesus.</description>
