Deut, 30.20 ‘Love the Lord. Listen to Him. Hold fast to Him.’
Rev 3.11 ‘Hold on to what you have that no-one can take your crown.’
Don’t Give Up
In this
spinning, swaying, swirling world
don’t let go
As the enemy
screams and hisses and curses
don’t let go
your Father is seeking you
reaching you
teaching you
Gaze on His face
Hold onto His hand
Reflect His smile
Hear His voice
Feel his breath
Absorb His touch
Bask in His love
And when Your world falls apart
When everything conspires to break your heart
Don’t let go
Hold on
Hold on tight to what you have
that no-one can take your crown
